Since this is a scrap, here's the improved Deviation.

This picture is fanart for the webcomic Kagerou drawn by :iconatomicfireball:.

Okay, I was re-reading the comic and noticed that there were a lot of missing title pages. So I decided to draw one and picked chapter 26, Come Undone. It.. reminded me of the Korn song, but that didn't have anything to do with the picture. lol.

I read the chapter a few times to get the jist of it and came up with the jig. My roommate came in when I was coloring is and went, "Ewe!" But I don't think it's that bad. I added the blood at the last minute anyway, it can always be taken out.

The background I had a hard time with, I suck at them and I needed it to be plain. So I did a light-source. Whoopee.

Umm comments? Critiques? Old lineart can be found here. As you can see, improved it a little and it's been sitting on my computer for a while.

Made entirely in Photoshop, half CS, half v.5.0.

nice :) but i always thought come undone was from the duran duran song :p

Oh, wow. That is seriously cool. It's creepy, and I think it makes good commentary on the Red/Kano dynamic. I hope it gets picked up as a title page!

Creepy in a good way. I like the idea and the execution, but there's a flatness to it that shading doesn't quite fix. Maybe there's a way to get more sense of depth around the shoulders?

Gorgeous. I went back to reread that chapter just because of this image too. It fits perfectly.

I agree with the above comments mention of a certain flatness, but considering the context of it and Kano in general it kind of fits with the whole emotion of the picture and...such. <3

And of course, yay for blood! =D
